Someone with answers, with courage, with vision. A leader we can see, hear, and trust. But this isn’t a new longing. The ancient people of Israel felt it too. Long before presidents, kings, and elections, the Israelites asked for a human king. The Book of 1 Samuel captures that pivotal moment—the transition from being led by God to being led by men.
