I always wanted to do reviews. It's always a great thing to have watched something really awesome and have to write about it. I mean it's probably the best job in the world, you know, to be a respected and well-liked critique. Now that I think about my life before as a student, I always loved to do reflection papers about movies or books that I happen to like. I don't really understand why some people find it such a hassle to go and share their thoughts and feelings about something beautiful; I always found that as something relaxing. How many times, in our sometimes stale life, do we get to be sanctioned to write about something that we like? I mean, really think about it?
Maybe it's because they don't like to set aside time to do this, or if Microsoft Word gives them headaches. I don't really know. Well, I don't really care.
The only thing that bothers me about reflection papers is that teachers always find a way to grade them. Isn't it funny though; to grade a reflection paper? It's like saying to a person: tell me what you think, and I'll tell you exactly, numbers and all, where you are. I think reflection papers are only useful when it comes to English subjects. At least there, you can grade them based on their grammar, but never about what they think.
But if you happen to be a teacher who does this, and you are reading this entry right now, I don't want you to feel like I was attacking you though. I am, with all respect, attacking you, but don't feel like I am. I mean, since you can grade people based on what they think, I'm just assuming you have the capability to not feel anything, you douche.
See? You just proved my point.
Anyway, I leave you now with my POWER SONG for the day. I intend to leave a power song every time I write something that isn't important to either you or me. I just feel like writing. Idle hands and all that.
The Sweetest Thing by U2 is one of my favorite songs for the day. It's just pleasing to listen to and the video is just an exercise of pure freedom. I mean, look at Bono. Now look at your wallet. Now think if you can pull this off with that much in your wallet.
Hope that made you feel better, somehow.
